Jira Administration: Ordering Workflow Transition Buttons in Jira

A Jira workflow is a set of statuses and transitions that an issue moves through during its lifecycle and typically represents processes within your organization.

One potato, two potato, six potato, four. Any way you slice it (even with a mandolin), it's just bad counting.

We often expect things to be in a certain order, and this can apply to our workflow transition buttons as well. By default, Jira will order your workflow transition buttons in the order in which they were created, but you don't have to delete and recreate them all just to reorder them! In this tutorial we show you how to order your workflow transition buttons using the 'opsbar-sequence' transition property. The video shown below is the second in a two-part series on editing workflow transition buttons. The first part is a tutorial on how to edit the number of workflow transition buttons displayed on the view issue screen.
